I know there have been Lizard cookbooks before, but most of them predate me. I know a lot of folks have some awesome recipes, though, and I have some time on my hands and would be interested in trying to put together another one, if folks are willing to contribute.
This is just trying to gauge interest, here. Who’s interested?

Count me in. I’ve a couple that I didn’t submit for the second edition. The last two cookbooks had the proceeds after costs going to a Veterans charity, but perhaps this time around the proceeds could go towards a national group for shelters for victims of domestic violence?

I would be all for that.
I have a few recipes of my own - all the earlier editions predate me - and I’m more than willing to donate my time as layout/contact/coordinator/whatever to put it together.

Talk to Jaunte. He was the (I believe) the graphics Guru for the first two.
Reine, if she is still hanging around (lurking or otherwise) may be able to give you some tips. Jaunte?

Just recommended this to Charles for promotion to the front page.
Why not?
Lets do a cookbook that (might) benefit abused Women and Children.
Hell, even if it falls flat on it’s face, we can honestly say we tried.
Link/tweet/what ever this page to Huffpo and other like minded blogs.
Spread the word.

Tips:
1. Get Charles’ permission before starting. There may be language he wants included.
2. Proceeds from previous 2 books were divided equally between LGF and a charity chosen by LGFers. Consider that it might be nice to split proceeds, since book will represent LGF users.
3. Figure out and let people know how the accounting will be done. I had a special paypal just for book proceeds. i had a separate cookbook blog and I had screen caps of purchases, deposits into paypal, and of the pages when the funds were disbursed. Not professional, but effective in being transparent
