School Bus Driver Arrested for Drunken Driving
Yikes!
ROSEBUD, Texas (AP) — Police say a Central Texas bus driver has been arrested for drunken driving while transporting students to school in the morning.
Police in Rosebud, some 35 miles south of Waco, say a student on the bus Monday phoned her mother about the driver’s reckless driving. The mother contacted police and the Rosebud-Lott school district bus was later stopped.
Superintendent Anthony Price told the Waco Tribune-Herald that the driver was found to have a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit. Authorities have not identified the driver, who was charged with driving while intoxicated. Another driver was called to complete the route.
