Unbelievable. Every criminal defendant convicted in her court ought to appeal their convictions.

I don’t see why everyone assumes that the judge can’t be impartial while also coaching the prosecution on how to best present their case…

Unbelievable. Every criminal defendant convicted in her court ought to appeal their convictions.

I saw an interview with her (I think) about 12 years ago where she was against the retrial of a rape/murder convict who had been shown to have absolutely no DNA evidence in or around the victim (the DNA of about 4 other men were present).

Of course, she went on to slut shame the dead young woman while making up elaborate theories of how the guy could have raped her and had no forensic evidence left while copious evidence was left by other people.

The interviewer (a woman from India) was literally stunned into silence at points. I was as well.

Concur. Every case she presided over should be examined for errors, with the assumption being that she screwed up unless proven otherwise.

This woman is still in denial. She thinks that because she didn’t have to admit to being guilty of anything, it means she just made a “minor” misstep. IMO, no one should ever hire her as an attorney in any law firm in TX. She was caught red-handed and is still trying to deny that she was caught doing what she did. With people like her on the bench around the country and on the Supreme Court, it doesn’t surprise me that most Americans no longer believe that our justice system is capable of dispensing real justice.
