Well this is a totally sane way to approach the Girl scouts allowing lesbians to serve as scoutmasters. I’m hungry for Samoas though. So thakns Pastor Stupid, I’ll help out the Girl Scouts if I see them.

I note that his followers are urging people to join the “American Heritage Girls” as an alternative - who just so happen to be a fundamentalist Christian organization that was formed in the wake of the GSA (and later BSA)’s acceptance of gays in their ranks. They claim to be non-discriminatory, but a quick look at their statement reveals that it doesn’t cover religion, sex, or sexual orientation.

Also, the parent group of the American Heritage Girls is “race-realist” bigots over at the Heritage Foundation - so I’m willing to bet that the “race” statement is there just for show.

I occasionally work with a guy who claims the Girl Scouts promote a “lesbian agenda”.

He’s a big promoter of the Boy Scouts, is a born-again, and a Republican.

Two things:

1) This attitude isn’t as uncommon as you think.
B) Look at the guy’s beliefs and political leanings, and do the math from there.

What is wrong with a lesbian agenda? Are they advocating discriminating against anyone? I’d be more wary of someone claiming to support a “christian” agenda, whatever that is. It always sounds nice at first, but becomes horrific once you get into the implementation details.
