Texas, Texas, Texas, Texas, Texas, Texas, Texas, Texas, Texas, Texas.

Will no one rid us of this horrible state?

If they fail, they should self-impeach. Seems fair.

Bastards.

If When they fail, Issa should be automatically censured.

Yes, we made a mistake 150 years ago. Can we have a do-over? So we can fix it retroactively.

California will happily toss in Issa, Hunter, and McClintock to sweeten the pot if it will help.

The definition of an impeachable offense seems to have widened quite a bit in the eyes of these congress members. Fast and Furious may have been a big mistake, but not an impeachable offense. Same with “being uncooperative.” It’s not an impeachable offense.

Why can’t they just come out and admit the obvious? Holder is being impeached because—among other things—he’s a Democrat in the Obama administration. There are no “high crimes and misdemeanors” in these charges. Just grievances and ideological differences.

He’s not actually being impeached, because even though the Insane Wing of the GOP makes all the noise, there still aren’t enough of them to actually go through with this.

Yet.

A real who’s-who of nuttiness.

Last year, the House voted to hold Mr. Holder in contempt of Congress, making him the first sitting cabinet member to ever hold this dubious distinction.

Translation: We want him impeached because OBAMA! If we get away with this OBAMA! is next.

After that we’ll impeach everybody that isn’t on our side and then life will be perfect and wonderful forever.

If I were more tech savvy I would create a gif of the scene from Singing in the Rain where Ms. Seldon acts out her line, “…a lot of dumb show.”

I suspect that Being Attorney General while Black also has something to do with it.

Being uncooperative and deceptive is saying “I don’t recall” 74 times when testifying before Congress, like Alberto Gonzalez.

re: #7 palomino

I’ll say something else, too Palomino, because I have something in common with Holder and the president. Holder and President Obama are black, and the truth is that in most places in the South, even today, Black Americans are not trusted as much as Caucasian Americans. Many of the stereotypes the tea partiers and some republicans possess about not only black persons, but others, can be seen in the things they say/do, like taking the confederate flag and waving it in front of the WH. Hell, some tpers here are still afraid to get on the same elevator with you or sit beside you in the doctor’s office.
