Yes Barton, but telling teachers to basically break the law to promote your “good christian” values in public schools is okay.

FemNazi,

By the way, “historian” should be in quotes, because contrary to what Barton may claim he doesn’t qualify to call himself one.

Barton believes that any law or regulation that contradicts the Bible as he (mis)understands itis immoral and should be disobeyed. The word for this sort of policy is “Theocracy”.

You know what, since this is David Barton doing what he does: Claiming you and I are evil for disagreeing with him on religious matters. He’s just a piece of theocratic crap.

And the GOP thought it was a good idea to have this theocratic clown help write their platform, why? Anyhow, he’s a nutcase. I don’t even like Starbucks all that much. It’s convenient I suppose since there’s about three of em from where I get off my commuter bus and my office but calling it treason to drink osmeone’s coffee because you don’t like policies they stand for is downright stupid but then again this is David Barton who would have been at home in the Inquisition.

I’d love a link on that!

I don’t even drink coffee, but the shear fact that people like Barton are now attacking Starbucks for opposing their bigotry, makes me want to go there.

I could swore that I heard Barton helped write this past year’s GOP platform. Maybe I misinterpreted this but it does seem that they incorporated a lot of his views.
