What happened to the alleged “principled fiscal conservatives” that the Tea Baggers claimed to be? Now they’re just another group of far right wing religious nutters.

In other words, how are they any different from the plain old Republican Party they seem to hate?

So is she implying that all of our tragedies, including 9-11, was Gods wrath?
So Muslim extremists were just doing the Christian Gods work?
These religious nuts confuse me.

I am sick of these people. They act as if the things which are going on today never existed in the U.S. in the past. If I had my way, I’d put all of them on lockdown for a period of time and force them to read and study world and U.S. history, along with economics. Women were having abortions in the U.S. before Roe v. Wade, and God didn’t punish America. As Christians, they should be some of the most tolerant people on the planet. Instead, they’re among the nosiest, always sticking their noses in the personal business of others. If, as they claim, God will punish women who have abortions, they should also know that it’s not their business, and it will be an issue God will take up with the women and not these yapping, authoritarian rabblerousers. I’m a Christian, and I believe that it’s not my job to force others to think about certain things the way that I do. Christianity is a religion of free will. It does not involve forcing anyone to do anything. This is something people like McGowan forget. I’ve never read of an instance in the New Testament in which Jesus made anyone do anything. He said what he believed, and if the people rejected it, he didn’t stay there harassing them and trying to force them to accept his principles.

She’s lying about prayer in public schools, too. I can imagine she has no idea how much prayer there actually is in many public schools. I do know because I’m a retired teacher. Every morning we had a moment of silence in which students could pray if they chose to. Students had prayer meetings at the flagpole in the morning on school property whenever they wanted to. Our athletic department sponsored an organization, The Fellowship of Christian Athletes, which included Bible study and prayer meetings, and at every school event a Christian prayer was included, even at graduation ceremonies. Students would even bring their Bibles to school, and no one made any effort to say one word to them about doing it. Students would pray before taking quizzes and tests, and no teacher/administrator in the building ever told him/her that s/he couldn’t pray in school. People like McGowan are looking for a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist. I taught high school for 33 years, and at no time did I witness a student being reprimanded for praying in any of the schools at which I worked.

So the united states is being punished because I personally don’t believe in God?

Fuck you too, Tea Party. With a rake.

Yeah how dare the US not be a theocracy where people of different religious beliefs are punished. Fuck you Tea Party fucker, this is America not Medieval Europe where people of one religious group got to rule supreme over others.

They were in charge of the Tea Party for about 2 or 3 days before the Christokooks came with piles of Koch Brothers cash and badly misspelled signs about the Manchurian Candidate Kenyan Marxist Islamic-Atheist. (seriously it hurts to even type that shit.)
