It’s almost like Geller wants to discredit any legitimate criticism of radical Islam. Asking her opinion on Islam is similar to asking George Galloway’s opinion on Israel.

I remember someone on twitter telling me recently that people like Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer do more to promote radical Islam than to fight it. I think he maybe correct about that. I wouldn’t be surprised if Al Qaeda used blogs like hers as a propaganda tool to convince Muslims that the west is against them.

re: #2 CriticalDragon1177

Geller is one of those strange people that takes slivers of truth and extrapolates them far beyond any reasonable context. For example David Horowitz, a comrade of hers, is quite correct on some of his critiques of Chomsky and the anti-Israel left, but he takes it far beyond the legitimate points he may have, drawing links to the Muslim Brotherhood and shadowy forces controlling things behind the scenes. In this way they are similar to characters like Fisk and Walt, taking facts and distorting them to fit a worldview, only difference is one set of loons treads in water eons older and voluminous then the other. The lunacy of antisemitism hasn’t stopped since Manetho wrote that the Jews were kicked out of Egypt because they had leprosy.

Updated the post. I just remembered something important that I wanted to add.

I saw the NY Times front page photo and it is indeed shocking because it’s not something that you expect on the front page of the NY Times.

If the NY Times showed Angelina Jolie’s pre-mastectomy nipple would Pamela still be outrages?

This belongs on the front page of LGF.

I just now noticed your Page, CD—great job. A little while ago, after receiving a Google alert about her screed, I posted about it in one of the main threads. I guess I’ll just repeat what I said, in part:

If this woman has anyone who actually cares about her they should stage an intervention and get her to a mental health professional.

She’s starting to remind me of this:

Youtube Video

It’s like her intense hatred of others has become so toxic that it has poisoned her own mind to the point where she imagines enemies lurking in every shadow and around every corner. As much as I find her revolting, watching her apparent continued descent into hellish madness is sad & pitiful.

CD, I’ve grown accustomed to her hateful spewing, but this one was so divorced from reality that it left me gaping at the screen, dumbfounded. O_o

About that tattoo that has Pam so freaked out; The model is a 28 year-old Israeli woman who had breast cancer. Here’s her statement from the New York Times:

publiceditor.blogs.nytimes.com

In response to some readers’ comment on the tattoo I have on my body, I come from a family of Holocaust survivors. When I was 17, I went with my high school on a trip to the concentration camps in Poland. It was a very emotional and difficult trip, and when I returned to Israel I was so proud that I am Jewish and Israeli that I wanted the whole world to know. I will never have to hide my religion or where I come from. That’s when I made the tattoo of the Star of David. It was 10 years before my diagnosis of breast cancer.

oh yeah, that’s some real bad anti-semitism there Pam.
