Voting loophole? What a despicable scumbag. The right to vote is based on citizenship, not how much income one has. And this drooling idiot likes to wank on about constitutional rights. Still, let him keep going and let the wingnuts keep making him a poster boy. Eventually they’ll all be seen for the scum they are.

Thecommodore

Thankfully, not only would no mainstream Democratic support his proposal, it would be unconstitutional anyway. The supreme court would strike it down, before you could count to ten.

By a 5-4 (or perhaps 6-3) ruling…

It would be a unanimous ruling. All the justices would rule it unconstitutional, unless there were some serious wingnuts in the court, to the right of the most rightwing justice on the court right now. It would be far too obvious that it was unconstitutional.

You’re right. The plain language of amendment 24 would be too much for even Scalia to overcome.

The right of citizens of the United States to vote in any primary or other election for President or Vice President, for electors for President or Vice President, or for Senator or Representative in Congress, shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any State by reason of failure to pay poll tax or other tax.

One word makes all the difference here.

“People who pay no federal income taxes are allowed to vote in federal elections.”?
IMO: A Moron….

So now Motor City Poopy Pants is for a Federal Income Tax receipt as a litmus test for voting rights? Someone must have whispered in his ear or he thought long and hard about this on his escape and successful run from the Federal Agents Hired By Obama To Kill His Stupid Ass Or Lock Up His Stupid Ass In Guantanamo Or Some Other Third World Country That Obama Wants Us To Be Just Like Or Even Just Beat Up His Damn Stupid Ass But Good. That’s some skills. Damn. I always envisioned Teddy Bumpy Lumpy Drawers all dressed up in Moss Bark (can’t see me, hahahahah) or other Ninja Warrior Shadowy Skills Clothes Craft, on a lonely Central Pennsylvania Mountain. In the fog. Just about dawn. In bow season. With no canned hunt and no body else but hisself and that mountain and his mind. Just itchy and him. I would bet he’d put a broad head through another hunter as he jacked his sorry ass up.. Just my thoughts. Fuck Ted with a rusty hanger. Twice. No. Five times.

the humble MotorCity Madman, NRA Board of Directors member, leading gun-rights spokesman and prospective presidential candidate in 2016

I’m not religious man, but even I could manage a prayer for his successful candidacy. Nugent 2016!

The Republican party would never again be taken seriously.

The vast majority of workers (including EVERYONE in the 15% marginal bracket) pay more over their lifetimes in payroll taxes than income taxes…

…but you’ll NEVER hear the wingnuts change the parameters to eliminate, say, the folks who open dividend checks for a living.

Meanwhile, the idiot cherry-pickers are still trying to get folks to believe income taxes are the only real taxes.

Love how he deludes himself. He’d fuck over his own ideology if they ever did this. The rank and file Republican voter isn’t wealthy but he deludes himself much like Ted here does into thinking only he’s a “producer” and those who vote differently than he does are “moochers.”
