It’s every single day of the week now. Don’t these stupids ever take a day off?

Thoughts while shaving: Have long maintained as a ” Minnesota” born and bred native, with relatives having fought and died to preserve the “Union”, the wrong side won the “Civil” war. Contrary to public opinion formed by government indoctrination (schools), the Civil War was never about slavery. “States~Rights” is what the South was fighting to protect, in the spirit of Patrick Henry! Sum of the matter? History written to conform to the public narrative is not worth a bucket of spit! Period! End Report!

Yes this is what you think about while shaving. O_o

Except it was never about States Rights, as the Confederate States had no problem whatsoever with a strong Federal government when it sided with preserving the rights of slave states over free states.

If you enjoy snorkeling in the swamps, you’ll find enough of such thinking to classify.

Anti-constitutional tripe is central, of course, to the League of the South/Southern Nationalism Network world. Some of the Threeper groups don’t stop at the Founding Fathers, especially the Western Rifle Shooters’ Association blog. Then there are some serious crazies in the lone wolf mode.

Extreme libertarianism will also take you into a realm beyond countries and constitutions.

But too many people aren’t exposed to the full facts of the US Civil War. Some don’t really know about it, while others are exposed to bogus versions that make the Union out as evil.

My argument for “states rights” has always been: a state’s right to do what? And why would states rights be more important than people’s rights?

Ask them about mammoth of federal interventionism, The Fugitive Slave Act.
