Eek.

I used my ATM card for debit at Target last weekend… so far so good. I guess they could run the number as a credit card so I better be sure to watch my bank account.

re: #1 freetoken

I had a debit card end up being used in two different states a couple of thousand miles away from me. I have no idea how that happened, but my back just canceled the card, refunded the charges, and sent me a new one.

Third time this year someone has gotten access to a debit/credit card of mine. I’m starting to get annoyed.

Our modern world, with its ultra-modern thieves.

I suppose my bank will protect my card and bank assets - I think they have a big banner advertising how secure it all is.

Funny enough, I only use my Target store card while shopping there once a month. So even if my information was stolen, thiefs could only use it at…Target! Perhaps thats why my balance is still at $0.

When Adobe lost something like 130 million Adobe IDs and payment data, they did notify us; four months later.
