North Korean leader Kim Jong-un was ‘very drunk’ when he ordered the recent execution of two aides close to his uncle Jang Song-thaek. According to the Japanese newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun, the pair was executed after they questioned an order from the dictator to hand over control of a business to the military.

Sources told the newspaper Kim was ‘upset’ when they said they needed to check with ‘Director Jang’ first.

NO!!! What I said was “Take these guys out FOR a few shots”.

This is really scary, if true. I suspect that he won’t be glorious leader for long. The military KNOWS what it’s capabilities are, and in the event of war it would be not unlike me going into the ring with a professional. I might get one lick in, but then it’s going to be all over.

It wouldn’t be that quick with North Korea, but its a dead certainty that the top officers know that there is no battle scenario that plays out with them winning, or even having a draw. I think that he will be removed from power one way or another. Both his father and grandfather understood the calculus of power, and played it well. I think he actually believes that they could win.
