Meanwhile we have a run on the border. Articles came out late in the year - last year, but a run on the border because everyone’s getting ready for the step by step on immigration. So they’re all getting ready, they’re all coming here, they’ve got birth tourism - I love the “birth tourism,” all these people coming here nine months pregnant, crossing the border from Tijuana, having the baby, the stay for the passport, and then Obama says we can’t split up families. So then the mother and the father…everyone comes across, and it’s like “keep the family together.” I’m for keeping them together in Mexico.

Apparently there are a fair number of Chinese as well-and they aren’t planning on staying here. US citizenship is seen as an advantage they can give their child.

It’s no longer a surprise that the twits don’t actually understand - in the least - the legislation they’re arguing against. Because the scenario they’re describing is pretty much impossible, under the new law.
But they’ll never actually read it, and understand(let alone admit) their mistake. After all: getting ratings on hate radio has nothing at all to do with discussing reality in an honest manner.

The vicious circle at work here is that racism and hubris from the likes of Ingraham (and her employers) is particularly responsible for the conditions in these countries where their citizens are highly motivated to come here for refuge.
