If everybody the GOP has screwed over or wants to screw over would just get out and vote next November, it would be a Democratic landslide. Sadly, they won’t.

President Obama needs to announce a blatant, unapologetic Public Works initiative to put everyone back to work who has been horse-fucked by this economy. He should institute several levels of work so that people can match a job to their skills.

It’s obvious the fabu-fuckin-lous free market isn’t going to make those jobs anytime soon. That’s why we need some incentive.

The GOP tells you who and what they are every day. Too bad people refuse to listen.

I really feel for this guy, but where has he been? Republicans have been saying this same stuff for years now, decades even.

Part of it is that the post-Depression consensus in the US on some policy issues has been unraveling lately, and the Republicans are now actually implementing Gilded Age v2.0 (e.g., Wisconsin) as opposed to merely talking about it.

Been saying that since 2008.

Maybe the republicans’ refusal to assist the long-term unemployed is exactly what it will take to awaken some republicans to the fact that what the republicans have been saying about a lot of things applies to them, too. I’ve always wondered why someone would vote for politicians who denigrate others because it’s quite obvious to me that I would not be given a special preference when they have the opportunity to implement their plans/goals. Millions voted for Romney, even after he insulted them, because they were probably thinking they weren’t a part of the 47% he was disparaging. They are.

It’s quite a shock when the “other guy” that you agree should get screwed turns out to be you. isn’t it?
