I’m curious; does anyone anywhere REALLY consider Ann Coulter’s opinion on anything to be worthy of merit or serious discussion?

This isn’t a “People should stop paying attention to her” whine; I’m just curious if anyone who hears this stuff actually thinks she makes a good point.

As far as I can tell, her career consists solely of saying outrageous things in order to piss off liberals/gays/women/human beings with a soul, the facts be damned.

Ann Coulter is a “kept” woman too. She whores herself to the bottom feeding jackals for a paycheck. Grifters gotta grift.

I never got why she became relevant in the first place.

She’s a good source of anger, hatred and fear for the addicts that populate that area of the political spectrum characterized as ‘right’. They read her and then trip their brains out.

She tells these cretins what they want to hear and she makes millions. That isn’t too hard to do considering said cretins get all their news from talk radio and Fox “News.”

True that. I honestly find her act pretty sad.

And we are supposed to give a shit about Ann Coulter’s opinion because….??

The more that people like Coulter and Erickson go after Wendy Davis, the more I’m convinced she’s got a chance here in Texas. They wouldn’t be going after a Democrat in this state with that much ferocity if she was just another sacrificial lamb that the GOP was going to steamroll.

Wait, I thought the social conservatives wanted all women to be kept women?
I wish these right wingers would keep a consistent line of reasoning, I am dizzy.

It seems like the Republicans go out of their way to piss women off.

To be realistic, if she loses by five points or less that would be huge, buts things would have to go incredibly wrong for Greg Abbott for him to actually lose this race. However the day is coming when demographics will flip Texas, the scenario the GOP has nightmares about.

So far as I can tell, it’s like the owners of Congressmen—once they’re bought/kept, they’re expected to stay that way.
Even if she’s right, Coulter’s problem isn’t that Wendy was looking for a sugar daddy…it’s that she didn’t stay in a deteriorating marriage until one of them killed the other or themself :-P

I’m not sure Ann Coulter is qualified to talk about womankind, frankly. I do not think she knows much about them.

I don’t think Coulter has anything remotely approaching an audience, so you are right.

The last and every time I have ever seen one of her books, it is in the remainder bin for $4.95. GOPers try to make her a female “thought-leader” (god, don’t you love the authoritarian syntax the GOP uses), but she’s so fawking stupid she’s just a distraction. I don’t think if we stripped away the veil of right-wing bullshit that Coulter has more than a handful of acolytes in the world out here.

I agree that Coulter doesn’t have an audience, at least not one of her own. She is, rather, an accessory or prop for the right-wing media: She is someone they can trot out to say things they think their audience wants to hear, but that they are not quite willing to take responsibility for saying themselves.

Because she may not be one.

Playing With AI-Generated “Art”I haven't really explored NightCafe's free online AI Art Generator (creator.nightcafe.studio) tool yet. I have only done some preliminary tinkering around with it but, I have to say, I'm more impressed with the results than I anticipated considering how little ...

Indigenous Americans Ruled Democratically Long Before the U.S. DidDemocracy: it was older and more widespread than we thought. At the Oconee site, called Cold Springs, artifacts were excavated before the valley became an aquatic playground. Now, new older-than-expected radiocarbon dates for those museum-held finds push back the origin ...
