Zimmerman vs (lets say) Danny Bonaduce

OR

Zimmerman vs (lets say) some middling black athlete or entertainer?

Zim gets the cash ,, the athlete/ entertainer gets fee publicity

But the alternative may be that he goes on the public dole!
I would rather see him make money getting his as kicked or becoming a sideshow than knowing my tax dollars are supporting him

Again, he’s basically unemployable

I’d like to know what Zimmerman’s take from this will be, and what the rules will be.

I agree that fighting a Trayvon Martin stand-in will boost the take. I just wonder if Zimmerman is willing to have the crap beaten out of him for the money, or if there’s going to be a weasel clause allowing him to resign the first time he gets hit.

No matter how it goes, he’s not getting a penny of my money for this stunt.

Well, his lame-ass lie about being punched in the face ought to tell any serious fighter what he was really about. If you’ve seen the real deal, you know nobody just casually walks off a good punch to the face … you can’t see or concentrate through all the blood. So, no, I don’t think Zimmy has a clue what he’s about to get into. There’s not going to be a fucking pistol in his pocket for when his pride gets ripped out of his hands and smeared all over the floor.

Except the part you bolded isn’t actually a quote. The quote is:

“We’re not looking at it as a race thing,” Feldman said. “We haven’t discussed purple, yellow, white, black.”

Which sounds to me like the reporter asked a question about race. It’s a writer trying to sensationalize the story.
