Great way for law enforcement to be using taxpayer resources. Should’ve been a strictly civil matter.

I’d hate to be the convenience store clerk getting robbed while the police hunted this real serious felon down.

Coming up next-
SEAL raid & then Gitmo for overdue library book on constitutional law.///

Nice use of resources. Was the blockbuster she forgot to return it to closed? And I think the only VCRs that still remain are at museums somewhere.

She probably owes $10,000 in late fees. That will teach her to go to the police for help.

Is that statute of limitations for petty larceny that long?

Once an arrest warrant is issued, the sol isn’t relevant. I’m not sure what if any states have provisions for arrest warrants to expire. A warrant should never have been issued in the first place, IMO.

I was going to say, there is no national clown shortage. If anything, we’re in dire need of thinning the clown herd.

Ah, gotcha. I agree that a warrant was excessive.
