“What’s in YOUR wallet? ME MOTHERFUCKER!!!!!!!!! Up against the wall!”
Would someone in a position of power please pull the plug on the predators who pose as “business” and “lenders” and “banks”? Please?
I would not give Capital One the sweat off my left nut. The thugs are mainstream. A loan shark has more scruples.

I had a Cap One card at one time. I hated dealing with their customer service, and the draconian fee structure. Their whole purpose in giving me the card, seemingly, was to make me their cash cow forever more. I was so glad when I paid the damn thing off.

Then, they up and swallowed ING Direct, which had bought up Sharebuilder, where I had and still have an account. Cap One is like a freaking nightmare octupus. I can’t escape it!

So, I’m just picturing one of these greased-up, blow-dried business assholes turning up in Redneckistan and getting blown away for the impertinence of knocking on some Very ‘Murkin’s door protected by the 2nd Amendment.

I wonder which of those parties will have to fall on its sword afterward?

Edited to add: FUCK credit card companies. They are remora eels, utterly worthless parasites. We could ban the entire industry and I wouldn’t be unhappy.

As if that weren’t creepy enough, Cap One says these visits can be “at your home and at your place of employment.”

The police need a court order to pull off something like that. But Cap One says it has the right to get up close and personal anytime, anywhere.

Rick Rofman, 71, of Van Nuys received the contract update the other day. He was spooked by the visitation rights Cap One was claiming for itself.

“Even the Internal Revenue Service cannot visit you at home without an arrest warrant,” Rofman observed.

Uh…the police can visit you at your home if they want, including up to knocking on your door without a warrant or a court order. They can’t go inside, absent your consent, without a warrant however.

If you lose your job because of Cap One harassment, how does that help you pay off your card?
