Lady Gaga Proves to Be Fame Monster
The public always expects something shocking from Gaga but for the artist to start ranting about Perry on stage seems to be a little desperate. Maybe if Lady Gaga focused more on the music than “artistic expression” the singers sales wouldn’t be dropping. Of the vomiting incident Gaga said, “What I am saying is it’s the idea of a moment where it’s truly just what we wanted to create and us respecting each other as artists was enough for the performance to be worth it.” The question remains, if that were true why call out a fellow musician? Especially when Perry only had complimentary things to say about Gaga.
After this ridiculous spectacle at SXSW, Lady Gaga is proving to be a true-to-life Fame Monster who will stop at nothing to stay in the headlines and charts. Even Bill Werde of Billboard said, “I just hate to see anyone try to game the charts, be it fans or artists.” Werde referring to when Gaga tweeted special contests to fans in hopes to boost Applause up the charts. The tweet has since been deleted. The bottom line here is that Lady Gaga is a talented musician. It just seems that by not being in the constant spotlight is causing the Judas singer to grasp at anything for attention, even if that means wearing the insides of someones stomach.
