Like I said in reply to one of the people commenting on this over at Raw story, this is an excellent argument for public education. A public school could never get away with something like this.

I just saw that it’s located in Lynchburg Virginia, home of Jerry Falwells Liberty University. Fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree.

This could have probably happened just about anywhere in the country, as long as it was a conservative “Christian” school through. This type of bigotry unfortunitally exists throughout the country. Its only more or less common depending on what area you happen to live in.

I hope the parents have had their eyes opened. They thought their child was going to be in a loving “Christian” environment and it turned out she was judged and sentenced by a pack of….What would you call them? The children whose parents see no wrong in this are the problem. What next?

re: #4 CriticalDragon1177

Oh I’m well aware of it. I’ve been judged as a child as “no good” by these cretins. They are of the same cloth. Ignorant and vile and petty. They pissed on me when I was a child. I educated my children to the hypocrisy and they cannot be touched by this ignorance and call it out when they see it. They’ve screwed over more kids than you’ll ever know who were just looking for a way to improve themselves and be better. They are NOT Christian.

It sucks because there’s really not much that can be done since this is a private institution but you just feel for this little girl because she just wants to be with her friends. She has short hair. Big frigging deal. The owners of the school should be ashamed of themselves.

Like I said earlier, this is a major argument for keeping our public school system.
