You should check out the comments in the linked article. Or not, if you are easily tempted to punch your monitor whenever you see arrogant comments from bigots. “Oh, these people can’t solve their own problems. Oh, oh, they’re only short on water because they’re overpopulated.” They might as well have said “hail whitey” or something to that effect. Simply disgusting.

Reminds me a little of the water-gathering technology in the Dune novel. Not in terms of how it looks, but in the idea of gathering water out of the atmosphere in an environment of water scarcity.

This isn’t a new idea; I remember learning how to make a water still in Boy Scouts. I’m sure the WarkaWater tower is a lot more efficient as well as beautiful.
