Abilene Christian University : 5 Involved in Creating Fake Racist, Sexually Explicit Parking Tickets
Abilene Christian University police have identified five people as having been involved in the placement of fake parking tickets containing racist and sexually explicit messages on student vehicles, the university said Tuesday.
Names of those allegedly involved - said to be five white males - will only be released if charges are filed.
“The individuals we have identified as being behind the March 18 incidents are not ACU students nor do they have a connection to the university,” ACU spokesman Grant Rampy said in an email.
Leaders of the university’s Black Students’ Association have expressed disappointment with the university’s handling of the situation since the fake parking tickets were found on student vehicles. Numerous other students have also expressed concern.
