It amazes me so there are so many old farts out there who fail to realize that the good thing about “the good old days” is that they were young then. Of course life felt great! I’m gettin’ old too but I realize my aching joints are what pain me, not gay marriage and other people getting access to healthcare.

If divine intervention is something he can arrange, why did he not become President?

Dear Pat,

That is all.

No love,
Me

But remember people, conservatives are calm and rational and never engage in hysterics. Seriously grow the fuck up Pat or at least actually nominate a decent alternative to Obama rather than a shithead like Mitt Romney.

re: #5 HappyWarrior

Romney was the decent alternative to all of the other GOP shitheads in the race in 2012.

Just typing that makes me want to get drunk.

Furthermore, it is virtually certain the the GOP nominee in 2016 will make Romney look good, and that the GOP base of 2016 will be significantly worse than the GOP base of 2012.

If prayer could remove Obama from office, why is he still president? We’ve been hearing this “pray away the president” stuff since he was elected.

In Pat’s world, prayer = money, and obviously his flock is letting him down here.

My heart just bleeds for them. Oh. No it doesn’t. Maybe now they can go out and find honest work.

I suppose it is on-topic to repeat my standing offer to a possible omnipotent deity.

Cause Pat Robertson to disappear up his own rectum on live TV, and you’ve got yourself a convert.

For some reason this Page made me think of this brilliant Onion article.

For some reason this Page made me think of this brilliant Onion article.

Some nuggets of gold from this gold mine:

You have no idea what it’s like to be black and enfranchised,” said Marlon Hastings, one of thousands of Miami-Dade County residents whose votes were not counted in the 2000 presidential election. “George W. Bush understands the pain of enfranchisement, and ever since Election Day, he has fought tirelessly to make sure it never happens to my people again.

Bush concluded his speech on a note of healing and redemption.

“We as a people must stand united, banding together to tear this nation in two,” Bush said. “Much work lies ahead of us: The gap between the rich and the poor may be wide, be there’s much more widening left to do. We must squander our nation’s hard-won budget surplus on tax breaks for the wealthiest 15 percent. And, on the foreign front, we must find an enemy and defeat it.”

Maybe Pat can ask God how much money it would take and then get his idiots to mail it to him. Pat. Not God. If there is a heaven Pat won’t see it. He’s a tick on the ass of humanity.

17 CarolJ  Apr 9, 2014 3:04:31pm

Does Pat ever wonder why God didn’t prevent Obama in the first place by making McCain popular enough to win the first time? What about Romney?

I consider this a cry of despair and hysteria. The voters apparently like Obama. There have been no even remotely impeachable acts that would persuade Senate Democrats to go along. Obama’s in good health, and has a reputation for personal rectictude that would make Jimmy Carter look like a libertine. The Republican Party, the functional part of it, is looking ahead to 2016 and could care less about removing Obama.

There’s nothing left now but to wait for the clock to run out. Normally and as it was with Bush, people decide to go ahead and prepare for the next election and hope someone they like wins it.

But these are whiny babies who can’t simply wait until the Constitutional clock runs out on Obama’s term. He must go now, regardless of how much disruption that it would cost. It’s unbearable that they just can’t get their way and have Obama go poof somehow.

florida man strikes again:

Florida Man Arrested For Attacking Man He Thought Was Jesus Asks Judge For Atheist Public Defender

opposingviews.com

Florida man arrested for attacking his roommate with a butter knife because he mistook him for Jesus Christ is asking an Orange County judge to supply him with an atheist public defender.

Gustav Potthoff, 51, can’t afford his own attorney.

“It’s just my human rights and everything else,” he told the judge. “I’m allowed to be with someone of my own kind.”.

down florida man, down.

Also, there’s another Divine Law: a non-denominational one-the law of unintended consequences. If Pat got his way, you have a President Biden with complete and enthusiastic support of his party in 2016. He’d have a mandate to complete whatever Obama left unfinished and to go further left.

No Hillary-unless she ran as Veep-which in such a terrible scenario would be a cinch.

And Biden would win going away in such an event, perhaps enough to flip the House.

Twelve years of liberal/moderate Presidency would truly end the world Robertson wants to somehow bring back.
