…at the same time wanted the gay community to understand that “not everybody is going to like you and like what they see.”

Because gay people were totally unaware of that, until he straightsplained it for them.

a pundit on ESPN’s OTL was noting this same bullshit. It was “big news” that Eric Ebron had asked his girlfriend to marry him before he got picked and it was a big schmoopy thing for the camera, but nobody is saying “hey quit shoving your lifestyle in my face” to those guys. another guy criticized Sam’s whole cake thing as some kind of “agenda” or “scripted” event, like that other dude’s engagement wasn’t. wtf

i think the truth is more likely thinly hidden homophobia - from the likes of Mr. Smith. just my take - but how else could you commiserate with someone who sees the joyful act of two people in love celebrating a momentous achievement.

what could be more beautiful than that?

ironically, i doubt Mr. Smith commiserates with those who do not want to see interracial kissing.

Will Smith claims he was forbidden from kissing Cameron Diaz on screen because of American racism. The actor said Hollywood panders to the nation’s problem of seeing a black man and white woman getting intimate and stopped the co-stars kissing in new movie ‘Hitch’. To avoid controversy, Smith says he smooched Latin beauty Eva Mendes instead. The 36-year-old ‘Men in Black’ star said: “How are you not going to consider Cameron Diaz? But Hollywood is nervous about a black man kissing a white woman on screen.

I wonder if this overrated blowhard likes what he sees when he sees lesbians kissing. My guess is “yes.”

Isn’t Smith basically asking for a soft ‘Jim Crow’ type law where gays can be equal but still separate, as in certain aspects that upset non-gays cannot be publicly displayed?

And really where is the line Steve? Are they allowed to shower with the team, or do they need to wait so no one on the team is made uncomfortable? What if the media asks for two press meetings. One normal and one with the gay players for the media that do not like gays or want to associate or legitimize them to skip.

I bet Steve has some gay friends too!

Playing With AI-Generated “Art”I haven't really explored NightCafe's free online AI Art Generator (creator.nightcafe.studio) tool yet. I have only done some preliminary tinkering around with it but, I have to say, I'm more impressed with the results than I anticipated considering how little ...

Indigenous Americans Ruled Democratically Long Before the U.S. DidDemocracy: it was older and more widespread than we thought. At the Oconee site, called Cold Springs, artifacts were excavated before the valley became an aquatic playground. Now, new older-than-expected radiocarbon dates for those museum-held finds push back the origin ...
