a number of businesses in the state who have agreed to display the sticker at right in their window. That sticker clarifies that the business in question will not refuse to serve a customer because of his or her sexual orientation.

If a business displays that sticker it’s worse than Hitler and the Holocaust.///

Yup. The very existence of businesses that aren’t interested in your bedroom arrangements is an affront to all Christians everywhere, all the time.

What ever happened to “freedom”? Their outrage is due to the fact that these “discrimination laws” are an attempt to install a radical rightwing Christian Theocracy, which these business are willfully rejecting.

Haha I didn’t want to be the first one to go Godwin (although maybe I already did a little in my subtitle), but it does trouble me that it seems these conservative Christians basically won’t be happy until they push gay-friendly businesses and their customers right out of the economic system.

And a theocracy that the religious wingnuts are determined to install before they completely loose their grip on America. If this “Christian” American “Family Association” really cared at all about freedom, they wouldn’t mind businesses doing stuff like this at all. What they really want is to make homophobia the law of the land, they won’t stop with simply allowing business to discriminate against LGBT people. They want to be able to force them to do so, and this pretty much proves it.

Seems that if these fundamentalists had any sense they would realize the purpose of a business is to sell a product or service, you know the free market they worship, right after Jesus, or is it right before I get confused listening to the crap they spew. How does a business stating they are for free enterprise impair these goons freedom? Easy, if they can’t bully they aren’t free. The country is going to turn to shit in a hurry if these lunatics ever gain full control.

If they do, control will be brief. Any of their children that are above-average discard their parent’s superstitions and bigotry. When a subculture is this toxic and counter-factual, it can’t attract quality people. It degenerates into being 100% scammers and the rubes they fleece.

Unless civilization collapses, religious conservatism can’t do anything but implode under it’s own idiocy as smart people flee, and the average intelligence of the subculture plummets.

These people make hippies look like Einstein.

Also keep in mind that Obama won reelection. Most Americans support him. The “American Spring” wingnuts won’t even be able to gain power for one day.

However, I wouldn’t hold your breath when it comes to religious conservatives. Its not going to just disappear over night. In fact it won’t disappear within our lifetimes. However, the average religious conservative may slowly get more moderate over time as the country as a whole gets more liberal. Younger Americans may live to see a day when most conservative Christians are actually tolerant of things like gay marriage for example.
