While my personal feelings are we need more women in politics (with my State Senator Warren being a great example), politics by nature is a slow process. When it is accelerated, as we see with the recent Tea Party attempt to take over, Palin included: the change tends to be short-lived. Well, hopefully.

I’d also like to see less lawyers in office and term limits with more women. I have trouble reading our laws and 30 years is too long to stay in office. Politics shouldn’t be a career, it should be a service to the country.

I have always wondered why so many other Nations, including very patriarchic ones, have had elected women leaders for years at their helm.

We on the other hand talk about it like it is space exploration.

Heh. A very good point.

Yes, even India. Pakistan and many of the African nations have had female heads-of-state.

We, on the other hand, are special.
