Russ Campbell’s Blog: Why Shouldn’t Wynne Be Held to Account for Ornge Crash?
The OnÂtario LibÂeral Party has used the WalkÂerÂton (tainted waÂter) Tragedy to deÂmoÂnize forÂmer preÂmier Mike HarÂris and, by exÂtenÂsion, curÂrent PC leader Tim HuÂdak.
A good case in point is when KathÂleen Wynne reÂcently imÂplied that Tim HuÂdak would cut the pubÂlic secÂtor workÂforce so deeply he would cause deaths in rural OnÂtario Ă la the 2000 WalkÂerÂton tragedy.
Now Wynne has her own tragedy for which she must acÂcount.
On May 31, 2013, two Ornge air amÂbuÂlance piÂlots and two paraÂmedics were killed in a heÂliÂcopter crash near an airÂport in Moosonee. A court docÂuÂment obÂtained a day or two ago by CBC News alÂleges that sevÂeral breaches of the Canada Labour Code conÂtributed to the tragedy.
