Well, I can’t read the entire source article as I keep getting a time out error from the server, but it from what I can read here it seems the guy was really lucky that he didn’t get killed (if the burglar was armed).

I’m having trouble with that site too. But considering how unrealistic most “gun” controllers are, I can think of three possible explanations off-hand: either the burglar is really stupid, or someone painted over their “weapon,” or this story is bogus.

After nearly forgetting about it all day, I just tried the link again. It worked this time but provided no further information. It had a stock photo on the page, so that told me nothing more about the “gun.”
