I know the election is still two years away, but a recent poll shows why Hillary’s inauguration is virtually inevitable:

People should really know better than to write stuff like this. Maybe once again Ralph Nader will decide he wants to be the spoiler. Maybe Bernie Sanders.

Maybe the Koch brothers will decide to spend a billion or so on negative advertising against her. Who knows how crazy the Republicans will be in two years, and who knows how many white voters will have joined them?

There is a point of diminishing returns, and the Kochs already reached it in 2012. Basically all that extra money does is inflate the salaries of GOP campaign operatives. As a white, I resent the insinuation that we are all a bunch of ignorant racists; 39% of us voted for the President.

Most conservative major Democrat since 1976 too. I doubt that this is unrelated.

Her election was inevitable in 2008, too. I’m cautiously optimistic that a Democrat will win again, but I’m not taking a damned thing for granted until the votes are counted in 2016. There is far too much time between now and then for anyone to be a lock.

That said, we can already predict the campaign against Hillary. It will be all Benghazi! Stained Blue Dress! Whitewater! Vince Foster! all the time. The GOP are going to have to come up with something much better than that in 2016.

Exactly. It will be like the campaign of Rev. Wright! Bill Ayers! Saul Alinsky! You didn’t build that! which moved absolutely no-one outside the GOP base.
