“Really, who wants matzoh?” Beck asked. “Even if it is made with yummy Christian blood.” Instead, he proposed pancakes and waffles.

On the radio broadcast, Beck dramatically drizzled his “Christian blood” over a variety of breakfast items. It’s not entirely clear what point Beck was trying to make with his theatrics, but he did appear to sending Hamas this message: If anyone is going cook with Christian blood, it’s going to be me.

Scratch the surface of wingnut apocalypse fans and you’ll find that they view themselves as The Actual Chosen People, and thus able to (1) dictate what it means to be a Jew, (2) appropriate the Jewish experience. Which is why they so brazen about applying old-school antisemitic stereotypes to The Wrong Kind of Jews—liberals, intelligensia, etc.

This bizarre stunt is perfectly in keeping with Beck’s appropriation of the suffering of Jews while simultaneously dictating the authenticity of other’s “Jewishness.” He’s literally eating an identity.

There was a story here about him owning a hanky with Hitler’s blood on it. There’s fascination with the Third Reich and then there is just plain creepy, Glenn is clearly the latter.
