If you had to attach, not a philosophy, but an attitude to a leftist world view. It’s one of pessimism, and darkness, sadness. They’re never happy, are they?”

Apparently Pills has never watched Fox News, read Breitbart, or listened to his own show.

I know, and conservatives ( social conservatives in particular, of which Rush is ) are often upset by things that liberals and most other people regard as a positive.

Or listened to Glenn Beck or yeah himself. Not like Rush is exactly sunshine and rianbows himself. This is disgusting though even for Rush but you know what he doesn’t care because he knows he can say all the vile shit he wants and no Republican will call him out because he’s got their balls in a vase.

Rush’s view on the world is all you suckers are stupid and should be fleeced. History will not be kind to this ass wipe and his fans. Money can’t buy class. Rush shows you that every single day in every single sentence he drools out.

That’s assuming that history even remembers him. Most people probably won’t even know who he was, ten or fifteen years after he passes away.

How do you get from this

“Robin Williams felt guilty that he was still alive while his three friends had died young, and much earlier than he had.” the conservative talker explained. “He could never get over the guilt that they died and he didn’t.”

to this

“Well, that is a constant measurement that is made by political leftists in judging the country.”

without even taking a breath?

Very few will mourn this vile hate filled ‘human’ being when he drops dead, unlike Robin who was loved by millions and brought joy and laughter to them.

You know I’m going to go further than I did with my previous comment. I’d be willing to bet that fifty years from now, more people will know who Robin Williams was, than will know who Rush was. Many of the movies Robin Williams stared in are classics, such as Toys, Patch Adams. I can imagine that many people will still watch those movies half a century from now. By than practically no one will be listening to Rush Limbaugh’s stupid radio show. The guy is dreaming when he says he’s going to have his own wing at the museum of broadcasting. In fact if someone in the 2060’s America listens to one of Rush’s old shows, they may well be horrified, even if they’re someone who would pass for a typical conservative at that time. On the other hand many of those movies will still be enjoyable and Williams may still be making people laugh, since much of his humor is timeless.

Oh people may end up remembering Rush but it won’t be for good reasons. Meanwhile, I’ll be near 80 and still enjoying flicks like The Birdcage.

re: #8 nines09

Rush walks back vile remarks about Robin Williams. Nice try, jerkoff.

He didn’t so much walk his remarks back, he instead tried to pass the blame off on the “liberal” media for misquoting him and taking his misquote out of context. And also blaming liberals for doing exactly what he did.

Right, in other words, Rush took no responsibility for his own words and tried to blame other people. Par the course for him. I have never seen that guy once admit that he may have stepped out of bounds. Just, oh? I said something incredibly bigoted or in this case insensitive. Well, that’s your fault liberals for calling me out on it. He’s a scumbag as are the Republicans who have let him do this for years and treat him like a reasonable voice. He’s nothing but a real life personification of the big Squealer from Animal Farm.

re: #10 HappyWarrior

You know if Hollywood is anything like it is now, within the next fifty years they’ll probably end up remaking some of those movies, like the Bird Cage, but they probably won’t be as good, or as funny, especially without Robin Williams in them.

Oh Rush might still get a wing there. Only it will be in the sub-basement and no one will be allowed in until they show proof of age and sign a waiver holding the museum harmless for any psychological damage incurred by viewing the exhibit. I’m sure “Rush Limbaugh A Lifetime of Hate” will make for a fairly popular exhibit with those seeking a little degenerate titillation.

He realized that Robin Williams is a bit more beloved than he expected. I hope the Flush Rush guys finally bury him for this.
