Here’s more context. Wolf had tweeted to me in relation to the scans, and I indicated how they were bogus - pointed out the sites, and other inconsistencies.

He put 2 and 2 together, and that’s how he arrived at the conclusions that Hoft was talking crap.

Wolf didn’t need to talk to Hoft. Clearly talking/tweeting him now doesn’t clarify anything either. Hoft isn’t backing down on the claims that the scans are that of Wilson. He isn’t backing down on claims that persons within the prosecutors office are feeding him “scoops”. Hoft is simply heaping crap atop crap.

And Wolf called him out for it. So Hoft’s response is to question Wolf’s sources, which are CNN and WaPo reports that directly refute and contradict Hoft’s claims - including the bogus scan.
