Though various smart lock products have been on the market for some time now, consumers have been relatively slow to adopt the technology—and that’s understandable. Before trading the security of the traditional lock-and-key combo for the convenience of a smart lock, consumers have to be convinced that these locks are valuable enough to enable them to overcome insecurities and reservations.
