The damage these people have done to this country is unbelievable.

I know. But what’s the best way we can undo the damage the Koch brothers have caused.

They do not give a rats ass for America or her citizens. The Koch brothers are trust fund babies from hell who wish us to be happy for scraps thrown from the tables of the wealthy. They lack morals and ethics and are a cancer.

The Charles Koch Foundation expressed a willingness to give Florida State an extra $105,000 to keep [Bruce] Benson—a self-described “libertarian anarchist” who asserts that every government function he’s studied “can be, has been, or is being produced better by the private sector”—in place.

Except, apparently, economics professorships, since he works at a a public university!

re: #4 Ace-o-aces

Good observation. It sounds like Bruce Benson is a hypocrite.

By the way, I forgot to mention that I want to thank Mary at Skepchicks for alerting me to this story.

You’re not going to hear a word about this from conservatives who claim to be about academic freedom. The reality is conservatives have a problem with liberals having opinions.

Soon, higher ed won’t matter. Get it into grade school curriculum and brainwash them early. See Texas textbooks for the path.

re: #8 WhatEVs

That’s a good argument for liberal organizations that actually care about education to monitor people like the Koch brothers, and their attempts to corrupt our educational system, in addition to creationists.

If you read the article in full it mentions this gem.

Separately, Charles Koch is the financial force behind a 𠇌urriculum hub” for high school teachers and college professors that criticizes government and promotes free-market economic principles. He’s also funded programs for public school students.

One of the most laughable euphemisms is ‘think tanks.’ Think tanks are ‘ideological PR firms.’

Schools that ascribe to higher education but are funded by these cretins are nothing more than finishing schools for indoctrination camps. Polish the the indoctrinated up before releasing into the real world to spread the virus of group think.
