Of course they charged the victim. If the school board charged the bullies it would be admitting the school board was at fault and failed in their responsibilities.

Admitting they are responsible is something very few people in power are loath to do.

The very first comment on that story probably sums the whole thing up:

Anyone want to bet that the bullies are school athletes?

A nationwide problem that almost cost this kid his life. The parents really need to consider suing the principal, the school and the entire school district. This was an ongoing problem they obviously ignored.

The short version is this makes me beyond pissed off.
