The wingnuts just loves them some Holocaust victimhood status! It was so wasted on Teh Unshaved Juice who didn’t even embrace the Jesus.

Wingnuts are SO MUCH MOAR BETTER at being TEH HOLOCAUST VICTIMS except not that genocide, torture, death & suffering part.

Christ, what an asshole.

Santorum, as Santorum has done forever. That he was ever elected to office in Pennsylvania still boggles my mind. In his and the others who stand with him, there is his world, and he and them are special and right and privileged and then there are the rest of us. He would enact laws that would demand that your wife or daughter die before a life saving abortion was performed, while his wife was SPECIAL. Not you. Not your family. No. Him and them. He’s about as low as a scumbag can go. God is Love Rick. Not you and your puddle of hate, self pity and spite. Creep.

It would be nice, but it aint just Rick. Imagine quite what kind of moron elected Palin. It’s a sad and disturbing world.

I’m not sure what’s more upsetting—that Santorum is spouting such a disingenuous version of history, or that he knows his constituents will go right along with it. Honestly, his version of the motive for Bonhoeffer’s execution is insulting to Bonhoeffer.

Rick Santorum: The Nazis Are Coming for the Christians Again, Just Like the Holocaust

There they go again….

Yes. And again …

Yeah Rick, it would be better if you were in charge and could tell everyone else how to live. Maybe better still if you could burn a few witches and heretics, that would sure help ease your persecution complex, as CPP would say, have I mentioned what a dick Rick Santorum is.

9 No Country For Old Haters  Nov 3, 2014 7:51:01am

I find it hard to believe that Santorum actually believes the insane things he says, but I wish him success in frightening the wingnuts into moving to a country more in line with their delusions.

I’m beyond tired of these guys comparing themselves to Holocaust victims especially on an issue like gay rights where they are seeking to deny gays equal rights and they think gays having their constitutional and human rights affirmed by judges is somehow like the Nazis. If these people respected the Jewish people like they claim to, they wouldn’t constantly bring up the Holocaust and cheapen its horrors by likening the legalization of same sex marriage to it.

Palin was in Alaska, and Rick was in my state. The whole kit and caboodle of the right wing are disgusting. That they may gain come tomorrow makes me wonder. The Democrats seem to be unwilling to call them out on anything and hammer away. “Senator. You said and repeatedly spoke that implementation of Obamacare would be a disaster. Can you therefore explain how at least two more million American citizens having health care and premiums going down is a unmitigated disaster?”
Mike Huckabee and his Open vileness and he’s supposed to be a Christian, God help us.
They have nothing but my complete and utter contempt.

This is the Christ that is denied by a large quantity of so called Christians. How does stepping on people make one greater? It does not. It diminishes us all. Now tell this to a loon and ask if he’s “heard the good news”.

A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said, “Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like.” The Lord led the holy man to two doors. He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew which smelled delicious and made the holy man’s mouth water. The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful, but because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths. The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering. The Lord said, “You have seen Hell”.

They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man’s mouth water once again. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking. The holy man said, “I don’t understand.” “It is simple,” said the Lord, “it requires but one skill. You see, they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves.” When Jesus died on the cross he was thinking of you!

That parable just creeps me right out. Not being allowed to feed yourself is a form of torture. Being fed by someone else shoving a long handled spoon with boiling hot food in my mouth is not my idea of “heaven”

I just saw this on Boardwalk Empire last night. LOL.

The message that I get from the “parable”, and that is what it is, is to love and care for one another. That so many that profess to being a Christian would want to harm and demean others, as a judgment, as they see fit, goes against the very tenants of what is supposed to be their faith. But then again, what else is new. Theology. It’s not just for discussion. Hypocrisy is timeless and the blind are legion.

re: #14 Sionainn

I heard it many moon ago and just had it pop up in my head. I find it troubling that people like Santorum and his ilk, can cherry pick verse from their Bible when it suits their purposes, and spit on the other passages about judgment, and the poor, and the infirm and those seeking shelter. Love one another? Sure. Got a membership card? *spit*

That is the key reason that our Founding Fathers insisted on the separation of Church and State

No shit. So many “Patriots”. So many “Constitutionalists”. So many “States Rightists”. So many ignorant self serving idiots and all the bankrupt arguments, and yet still they stand and demand that you show fealty to them and their “god” and make it part of government. Sounds like a walk off a cliff. “What’s wrong with prayer in public school? Why can’t kids pray?” Kids can pray all they want to, Jack. They just can’t lead the class in prayer or demand that you pray with them. Get it? I really don’t know WTF is wrong here. The crack pot who used to be on overnight AM radio is now a “source” and the nut screaming at cars on the corner is now a “spokesperson”. And they “Blog” or call it that as they shit all over people. SMH.

An investigation led by The Associated Press has found that, over a decade, more than 1,000 people died after police subdued them through physical holds, stun guns, body blows and other force not intended to be lethal.
