This shows poor training, management and discipline. It seems like too many police on the force are just itching to play the hero in a vainglorious shootout.

Having the tax-payers responsible for the payouts from litigation does not give enough actual incentive for the police departments to reign in excessive force and poor judgment. Seriously, the vehicle was disabled and they fired 600 rounds? It is not enough to compensate the victims and their families; lots of people need to lose their jobs over this.

The cops at Policeone all bitterly complained that the family of the dead hostage wasn’t being nice to the officers who put holes in their loved one…and then said they were obviusly grifters who would sue the police.

I think that is the kind of filth that you will never get off…no matter how many showers you take.
