Somebody needs to kick Chopra in the nuts and then go, “Hey, my kicking didn’t cause your pain. It’s just your own interpretation of the whole reality you’re participating in.”

If he stared into his own navel long enough…
And you can’t pay me to watch a video of the magnitude of imbecile that this presents.

Chopra has always trafficked in the magical realm of Hindu/Buddhism/New Agey Bu**sh*t, injecting it into any sort of hard scientific argument. I remember his notions that the human brain was actually a quantum computer with a direct line into the Universe conscience. ..basically make up stuff that sounds good enough to possibly be credible and make some $$$dough. That’s the most important thing.

“If you’re sick it’s you’re own fault for attracting bad vibrations into your life.”

Very nice.

They say they can isolate HIV, and measure “viral loads” with the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test. But why is it that the scientist who won a Nobel Prize for inventing the PCR test, Kary Mullis, says HIV does not cause AIDS? Dr. Peter Duesberg was the first scientist to isolate the cancer gene. He was also the first scientist to discover and map out the nature of the retrovirus. He agrees that HIV does not cause AIDS. Also, Dr. Rodney Richards, one of the first scientists to create the first HIV antibody test, disagrees with the “HIV causes AIDS” hypothesis. Even Luc Montagnier, who won a Nobel Prize in 2007 for supposedly discovering HIV, publicly announced at the 1990 AIDS conference that HIV did not, after all, kill T-cells and could not be the cause of AIDS. Montagnier also admitted on French TV, in 1997, that he never isolated the virus — and neither has anyone else. I don’t know about you, but this is not at all what I had been taught growing up.

I’ll leave this here as a useful starting point for anyone who read the previous comment and is wondering WTF, because apparently HIV/AIDS denialism is an actual thing.

Mullis and Duesberg are well-known cranks on a crusade. And really, you think you will convince anyone here, at LGF (of all places), of your bullshit? Please. Try elsewhere.

Who knew there was an actual single (as in “the”) “cancer gene”?

You copied and pasted this comment from one of the AIDS denial sites; searching for the text reveals it posted in several places in the past few years.

if Chopra ever had any scientific credibility

He never did.

Why do anti-science loons always start out by listing authorities instead of actually discussing the science?

laziness…it’s easier to copy and paste information from crazy forwarded emails than to actually think.
