‘Good Samaritan’ Pastor Charged After Alleged Lie That Black Man Shot Him
A Louisa man has been charged Friday, just a day after he says he was shot while trying to help a stranded family.
54-year-old George Hunley is facing one charge of falsely summoning a police officer.
Police believe that Hunley is lying about his story.
Hunley says he is a victim. He says he was driving home when he saw a couple with a baby on the side of Chalk Level Road in Louisa County.
“And he had his hood up, and he was waving his arms for me to stop. And assumed they were broke down so I pulled over to help them,” said Hunley.
Hunley says the man pulled out a gun, took his wallet, then asked Hunley to walk toward the woods. That’s when they began to fight.
