Of course it would, and of course the name of the bill is an intentional deception.

Freedom for cable companies to overcharge for tiers and packages you only want part of. Freedom for ISP’s to cap and dole out bandwidth because they won’t invest in infrastructure.

The GOP sure doesn’t waste any time whenever there’s an opportunity to totally screw over the public.

Yeah, the “beautiful” freedom to take advantage of other people. Once again, the GOP shows us that they have a very bad definition of “freedom.”

Yet another example of the kind of law that will get passed if a Republican is elected President next year. If you like cable TV, you’ll love the internet without net neutrality.

As always, a Republican bill with the word ‘Freedom’ in the title is actually about giving power to people who already have plenty.

The rest of us mere mortals can suck it.

But, but…supporting Freedom is Patriotic! ;-)

One more reason if “Freedom” “Liberty” or “Pro” is in the title, you can be sure it means exactly the opposite. Painted Red, White and Blue? RUN.

An Orwellian amount of deception in that name.

The fever swamp should find it double plus good though.

The PR seems to have considerable appeal to some, though. I’ve already seen a couple “I’m so sad that we won’t be able to post here any more soon because of net neutrality” posts in conservative groups. I think they’re serious.
These same folks don’t like their ISPs. As ever one wonders how they dress themselves in the morning.

Its down to them listening to the propagandists and not doing their research. They probably haven’t even bothered to see what the opposition to the bill has to say, other than maybe to read what right wing blogs, claim they said.

Detroit Local Powers First EV Charging Road in North America The road, about a mile from Local 58's hall, uses rubber-coated copper inductive-charging coils buried under the asphalt that transfer power to a receiver pad attached to a car's underbelly, much like how a phone can be charged wirelessly. ...
