ND House Strikes Down Bill Outlawing Sexual Orientation Discrimination, Supporters Will Push for Bill Next Session
ome are calling it a disservice to North Dakotans. Lawmakers today shoot down a bill that would have outlawed discrimination based on sexual orientation. The bill failed in the House by an overwhelming two to one vote.
Bills similar to this one have appeared in the last three North Dakota legislative sessions. Each time they’ve failed, and while supporters say they’re angry, they say they will keep trying.
