Maybe my favorite Sec Def ever.

Ted Cruz:

A possible genius level IQ….

Ruined by a completely moronic personality and slave to an infantile ideology.

Is this a parody? Can never tell with HuffPo.

“Also, it makes you the rudest Canadian we’ve ever run across.” That’ll leave a a mark. Ted Cruz is the Ultimate Hoser.

It has got to be since the author shares credit with two other writers. (“Elie Jacobs and Frank Spring, who along with Jason Stanford are political partners of the Truman National Security Project, contributed equally to this post but suffer lesser billing because of Stanford’s inability to figure out certain technological hurdles.”) I blundered by taking it at face value at first. After all, the only appropriate response to such ridiculousness is ridicule.

Wishful thinking makes fools of us all…. (I need an emoticon for sheepishness!)

I was hoping for more details about Cruz getting reamed by a pro… ;-)

The details may be forthcoming should Cruz complain of his butt-hurt.

And let’s not forget Kinky Friedman and the Texas Jewboys - without them we wouldn’t have songs like “They Ain’t Making Jews Like Jesus Anymore” or “A**hole from El Paso”.

Um, remember that you can edit Pages after posting them - the pencil icon at bottom right of the post. I changed the category to “Humor.”

Also, we shouldn’t post entire articles from other sites without getting permission. People tend to get upset at that. So I edited the post to quote only a few paragraphs. Also note that I put the quoted text in a blockquote; again this is to make it clear that the text comes from someone else’s article.

re: #10 Charles Johnson

Hi, thanks for the tips. I initially did not block quote the letter because there was a quoted text within the letter that needed to be set apart from the rest of the text and I block quoted that. I should have thought to italicize the inset portion so the rest of the letter could be block quoted. I hoped that by italicizing my own words it would be clear enough that the rest was a quote. I was also flummoxed because I inadvertently published way before I was ready. I had hit the enter button to create space between two sections and that somehow published it. It has been a rough morning and I have not published frequently enough to keep in mind all the tricks.
