Yellowstone Geysers - 1971
The project to scan my father’s 35mm slide collection has hit a long family vacation from 1971 that visited a number of parks and sites in the US West. Among them are a number of photos from Yellowstone National Park of various geothermal features.
Since the Lizards include geyser fans, I figured on posting images once I got them scanned. So here goes - geysers at Yellowstone as they appeared on a sunny August day in 1971. Camera is an Argus C4. (Identification courtesy of a Lizard identifying it was an image it was reflected in.)
Further tech info: Slides scanned with a Epson V600 scanner at 1200dpi. Mainly default features used. Scanned images were possibly cropped a bit, and the jpegs were shrunk in size to about 12-15% of the original image size. No additional manipulation done at this time.
