McKinney Cop Apologizes

or...cue the Fox News shush machine

…and Hannity (I’ll just call him Shank from now on), Beck, the entire Tea Party Klown Kar Traveling Election Circus, all those who have been jumping on the “Police can do no wrong when it comes to harassing Black People” crowd-…. what about them? What about all of their apologies? All of whom have been relentless in their automatic one-sidedness against Blacks having a party in a White neighborhood? Is there any integrity at all amongst this den of scoundrels? Any at all?

I can understand him being stressed but that doesn’t give him a right to act the way he did. I am sorry it just doesn’t. That said I am glad he apologized which is more than you can say about others but it would be nice if those like Hannity and others who went out of their way to attack these kids did the same.

Hannity and his ilk are only fulfilling the wishes of their audience. Everybody not like you is out to get you. And a shield is proof of Sainthood. I didn’t hear him apologize — just his attorney trying to save face. He shouldn’t get off the hook by being allowed to retire. He should never work as a police officer again and his personnel record should reflect why.

I don’t see how working suicides would make someone that barrel-rolling angry.

If I had just worked a suicide and an attempted suicide, I’d think I’d be depressed and quiet…not barrel-rolling and screaming.

Some people turn their sadness into anger, because its an emotion they are more familiar with.

It’s worth noting the suicide was a man who shot himself in front of his wife and kids, and Casebolt spent most of his time on the scene consoling a woman who’d just become a widow. I can understand a cop being angry with the man who messed up his family with his drama queen suicide, though as we have all noted that’s not an excuse for his later actions. It’s something to be weighed when determining what the punishment for Casebolt’s bad actions should be.

And as for him apologizing, remember that Casebolt really can’t do that as long as there is a criminal investigation open in the matter. For him to apologize would be to expose himself to criminal charges. He should, however, apologize the first minute after the criminal case is resolved.
