Montana Republican Uses the Story of Noah’s Ark to Justify Why Americans Don’t Need Social Security

Most of us - even those who aren’t Christians - know the biblical story of Noah’s ark. The one about the centuries old man who somehow built a giant ark that housed two of every animal on Earth, despite having no prior training to do so, survived a global flood and lived to be around 900 years old. Oh, and if you’re a true creationist, he apparently had dinosaurs on this ark as well.

But it sure does have a lot to say about crazy paper and your fellow man and how you should treat him. And you work for SS you twit. These jackals are no more Christian than a worm.

And I think I lost a few brain cells just reading that piece of flop.

“The example I think of is Noah,” Gianforte continued. “How old was Noah when he built the Ark? 600. He wasn’t like, cashing Social Security checks. He wasn’t hanging out; he was working. So, I think we have an obligation to work. The role we have in work may change over time, but the concept of retirement is not biblical.”

Crazy story, but the first sentence of the piece wasn’t well thought out. Christians didn’t invent the story of Noah nor are they the only religion that affirms it.
