These are tiny incremental steps back to the 50s. If they don’t hit serious resistance they will escalate.

For these persons, nothing says the Confederate flag they love so much is all about heritage better than showing up at a black kid’s birthday party and threatening to, “Kill ya’ll n!**ers!” I live in GA, and before 2009, I didn’t own a handgun, but I do now, and it’s because of nuts like the ones who showed up at this kid’s birthday party. I got it because I figured being black, female, and living alone, I just might need it. Since Obama was elected, some folks here have lost their frigging minds and blame every black person in the state/nation for their woes. I must say that they’ve been trained well by Fox News, other rw media, and their politicians and hucksters to blame their problems and lack of success others.
