Josh Duggar Admits to Adultery, Pornography Addiction in Statement
The Duggars get outed once more… apparently Josh just wasn’t satisfied with just being known as a child molester, so he also opened an Ashley Madison account.
Josh Duggar has released a statement after news broke Wednesday that the “19 Kids and Counting” star had an Ashley Madison account.
“I have been the biggest hypocrite ever,” Duggar wrote on his family’s website. “While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.”
Duggar was exposed after hackers revealed that the former reality TV star paid $986.76 for two separate accounts with Ashley Madison, a site designed for spouses looking to cheat.
“I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him,” Duggar said in his statement. “I brought hurt and a reproach to my family, close friends and the fans of our show with my actions that happened when I was 14-15 years old, and now I have re-broken their trust.”
Last May it was revealed that Duggar was also accused of molesting five girls, two of which were his sisters. He was then forced to resign from his position as the executive director of the Family Research Council.
