Security Council should question Iran for its victims
Despite all the concessions made to the Mullahs by P5+1countries the Iranian regime, fearing another popular uprising, retreated from its red lines. The final deal was later endorsed by all the 15 members of the United Nations’ Security Council. Although it has been on top of the world news, the final deal did not create much enthuse among Iranian people. Constrained or not, acquiring nuclear weapons is just one of the menacing features of a dictatorial regime whose first victims are the Iranian people with their bodies and souls suffering from the regime’s savage nature.
United Nations Security Council approved a final deal that its blatant deficiencies have already discredited it in the eyes of Iranian people and their neighbors. Sure the Iranian regime’s nuclear projects threaten the world peace but why avert the eyes from the atrocities this regime commits right now?
The executions, arbitrary arrests, torture and denying people of their basic rights that are taking place right at this very moment in Iran? Those who shed the blood of children of Iran are welcome to sit on the other side of negotiation table. UN Security Council asked Iranian regime about its nuclear projects, but lots of other questions are yet to be asked from this regime.
