Sunday Evening Sunset From California
Correction-Top pic image shot with a 60mm EFS. 2 lower shots taken with a Canon 14mm EFS L lens. Very wide, very fast and very crisp. I rented it for the weekend from Radiant Images who are an amazing bunch of people to work with on fine gear. It upset my usual sense of composition to have a lens that wide. It really pushed things away, back from you. It’s like your subject walks away as you lift the camera. This Canon lens has excellent glass and very advanced coatings. No filtration was used at all.
It really shows in the monochrome take.
That star in the sun is completely natural to that lens. Not a filter or photoshop. probably should have mentioned, sure the image is kinda repetitive. Same scene. I just could not pick the one to stand alone. Three distinct different takes on the same place.
