They’re literally saying they don’t want a leader who reacts calmly and rationally. They want a leader who lashes out in anger and fear.

Well she is nuts why even post what she says… there has been rape in Sweden as long as there has been humans in Sweden… however I think she was trying to express the stats here:

en.wikipedia.org

Two reports from the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention (BRÅ) are relevant to the rate of rape among immigrants to Sweden and their descendants. The latest published report that indicates the association between immigrants and rape was published in 2005 and revealed that foreign born individuals were 5.5 times more likely to be charged of rape than individuals born in Sweden to two Swedish parent.[35][36] While the report does not break down the foreign born category by country of origin, it has been found to be predictive of crime rates in other Nordic countries.[37] An earlier report published in 1996 by the BRÅ did break down rate of rape convictions by country of origin. It found that between 1985 and 1989 individuals with a foreign background made up 61% of all rape convictions while only representing 6.3% of the population. Ethnic groups with particularly high rates of rape included individuals born in Iraq, North Africa (Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia), and Africa (excluding Uganda and the North African countries) who were convicted of rape at rates 20, 23, and 17 greater than individuals born in Sweden respectively.[35][9]

Down-ding for intellectual dishonesty, concern trolling, and defending the claims of viciously Islamophobic bigots with crap like “Well she is nuts…however…” Here’s the first sentence of that paragraph for the Wikipedia page, which you conveniently left out:

The anti-immigration Sweden Democrats Party has repeatedly made the claim that the high number of rape reports is at least partly due to the influx of Muslim immigrants.[33][34]

Why did you do that? Did you think no one would check and notice your cherry picking? Do you have any idea how many times we’ve seen people try that here? Did you think no one would take the time to read the footnotes and follow the links to verify sources, knowing that anyone can edit Wikipedia articles and present reframed bits & pieces in such a way as to cloud their meaning in a manner that suits their bias?

The sources explain the psychopathology behind nationalist groups (the master’s degree thesis by Erik Dalarud in footnote 33) and an article (footnote 34) from The Local SE (Sweden) that blasts the dishonesty & racism of the Sweden Democrats. The first sentence in a paragraph is typically the topic sentence, the most important one—no wonder you left out.

I don’t know if you’re stupid, gullible or just a troll who imagines him/herself to be exceedingly clever (or LGF readers to be exceedingly clueless), but I dislike & distrust your tactics and I’ll be putting any other disingenuous assertions you make under a microscope due to your demonstrated your lack of credibility & truthfulness, not to mention your history of citing questionable sources, linking to extremist websites filled with bigotry, and creating a clusterfuck with your bizarre first Page on the same day you registered here.

It is noted that your main interests on this blog seem to be Hillary-bashing and terrorism where Muslims are involved. Interesting… Patterns, there are always patterns because humans are creatures of habit whose cognitive biases are eventually revealed.

Black and white Americans use, sell and possess drugs at the same rate. But blacks are four times more likely than whites to be arrested for it.

Enforcement disparities don’t prove who’s more likely to commit an offense.

Thanks for pointing that out. It jumped out at me the first time I read it, but then I got distracted with the rest and forgot to address it.

The host of the program, Joyce Kaufman, made the comment about “more rapes in Sweden”; according to the linked RightWingWatch article. Your headline attributes it to Geller, whom they reported said, “Come and get me, biatch” directed at Loretta Lynch for a mythical arrest of Geller.

re: #4 CuriousLurker

When you google this website it clearly states:

Weblog covering issues dear to both conservatives and US liberals.

If this isn’t the case, and if someone dares post a different idea or opinion, they will be called ridiculously childish names, maybe the admin should change that description. I in no way promote any sort of bigotry, racism or hatred to any group, and I like coming to this site to pick up on news and read peoples thoughts on subjects. I honestly tend to agree with most people here as I am a liberal but I also have my own opinions. Such as, I personally don’t like Hillary, and if you can’t deal with that.. tough noogies, I think she is a lying wretch. I didn’t realize I had an obligation to approve of your personal choice for President…

So in response to your post which I skimmed through:
Cool story bro….. feel that Bern?

re: #10 Thrazidun

So calling out some random idiot making excuses for a bigot like Geller isn’t really what I’m doing, the problem is that my devotion to Hillary is so intense that I’m enraged by your dislike for her and can’t help but lash out? *eyeroll* Okay genius, link to some comments where I’ve expressed my preference for HRC as president. Oops, can’t do it, can you? Of course you can’t. Lame.

I suspect what you actually are is a wingnut troll pretending to be a Sanders fan in order to sow dissension among Dems, otherwise you wouldn’t be pivoting to try to make the discussion about the 2016 election. News flash: All the trolling in the world isn’t going to save your party from its richly deserved ignominy. We see this utterly predictable tactic every election cycle. It’s boring—learn some new tricks

That spectacular 11-hour Benghazi failure in October really made all your RWNJ anal sphincters pucker up, didn’t it? Your panic is showing, LOL.

Your claim that you “skimmed” my post is amusing. It’s clear that you read every word and are still “feeling the Bern” of having your idiocy exposed. Too late to hide it now.

No, if you post ridiculous bullshit, your ridiculous bullshit will be called what it is. And since your particular brand of ridiculous bullshit is Donald Trump Lite (tastes terrible, more filling) that will also be noted.

This site is a

Weblog covering issues dear to both conservatives and US liberals.

We have liberals, even socialists, conservatives, etc, but nowhere in its description does it say that its one known for suffering fools gladly. You’re not going to win friends with the “I’m only getting called names because I don’t follow the party line” shit, you will win a LOT of friends by doing good research and by acknowledging and learning from mistakes and then trying not to repeat them.

By the way, I don’t know where that description comes from in Google, but it’s not something I wrote.
